What exactly is ValueCycleNetwork?

VCN is a community-driven, decentralized digital knowledge marketplace. Members buy quality digital products, learn from them, receive VCN Marketplace Selling Rights, and then participate in buying and selling within the community.

Does VCN take part in member transactions?

Accepted Answer

No. The VCN Operations Team provides and maintains the technology, marketplace infrastructure, digital product ecosystem and platform services. It does not participate in or interfere with transactions between buyers and sellers.

What are Marketplace Selling Rights?

When you successfully purchase a qualifying digital product in a marketplace, you receive Marketplace Selling Rights for that marketplace. These rights authorise you to sell eligible digital products within that marketplace according to VCN's rules, and are governed by a VCN Marketplace Selling License.

How many licenses can I hold?

Accepted Answer

One license per marketplace. Licenses remain associated with your account permanently, and you can hold licenses in several marketplaces at the same time.

What is the Platform Support Fee?

Each marketplace has its own Platform Support Fee paid directly to the official VCN Operations account. It funds platform maintenance, servers, security, fraud prevention, taxes and regulatory compliance, customer support, WhatsApp messaging, payment gateway services, development, community education and administration. It is not a payment for the digital product.

Am I forced to upgrade to a higher marketplace?

Accepted Answer

Never. Once you qualify for a marketplace you keep that qualification permanently and may remain active there for as long as you wish. Upgrading is entirely your choice.

How are buyers matched with sellers?

Accepted Answer

The platform automatically assigns buyers to sellers, manages both queues, tracks business cycles, issues licenses, delivers purchased products and records the full transaction history.

Accepted Answer

The ₦5,000 Marketplace is the entry point. The ₦10,000, ₦20,000, ₦50,000 and Global marketplaces are shown as Coming Soon and become accessible when an administrator activates them.
